Exporting Pets – Requirements:
Below is a brief summary of travel requirements for your pets to a few countries:USA & Canada-Valid Rabies Vaccination unless under 12 weeks, at which point you will be issued a Rabies Exemption Letter
-Valid Health Certificate from a veterinarian in St. Maarten, issued within 10 days of travelMainland Europe-Microchip identification
-Valid Rabies Vaccination (Rabies vaccine must be administered at lease 21 days prior to travel)
-EU Veterinary Health Certificate issued by a certified veterinarian within 10 days of travel– The completed EU HC must then be brought to the above Inspection Department in Philipsburg to be stamped by representativePlease note also that each airline will have specific requirements regarding pet travel (age, carrier/cage sizes, restrictions regarding the breed of the pet etc.), so please contact airline representative to get up to date information.
